Business Manager / Operations Director
A role for a leader who knows how to turn a strong customer experience into strong business performance.
We are looking for an experienced business leader who will take full ownership of business performance, people and day-to-day operations. The role combines commercial thinking, high service standards and the ability to build an organisation that performs consistently.
We share the company name and more detailed organisational context with candidates whose experience aligns with the mandate of the role. All conversations are handled discreetly.
Lead the whole business, not isolated functions.
Your responsibility is to ensure the business performs equally well from the perspective of the customer, the team and the financial result.
The Business Manager / Operations Director role brings sales, profitability, workforce, operations, quality and customer experience into one coherent management model.
It requires the ability to move confidently between strategic thinking, financial performance, leadership development and the realities of day-to-day service operations.
Business performance & financial discipline
You will own the budget and profitability and make decisions using sales, margin, labour cost and other key business metrics.
People & leadership quality
You will lead managers and teams, set clear expectations and build an environment where accountability does not depend on one individual.
Operations & standards
You will ensure consistent ways of working and high service quality even under pressure, making quality manageable and repeatable.
Customer & commercial development
You will connect customer experience with business performance, identify growth opportunities and implement changes with visible impact.
The impact should be visible.
We are looking for a leader whose impact makes the business clearer, the people stronger and performance more predictable.
The numbers are under control
You understand where performance is created, where it is lost and which management decisions have the greatest effect on profitability.
Managers truly lead
Responsibilities and standards are clear, and the team understands the results expected of them.
A great experience is repeatable
Service quality does not depend on chance. It is supported by people and ways of working that consistently deliver the right result.
Experience creates the foundation. Leadership style makes the difference.
Your previous job title matters less than whether you have genuinely held responsibility for business performance, people and operational execution. Experience in food service, hospitality or another operationally intensive service business will be a strong advantage.
You have owned business performance
You think in P&L terms and have experience managing budgets, sales, margins and the cost base.
You have led leaders
You know how to set expectations, develop people and build independent accountability throughout an organisation.
You understand operations
You do not manage only from spreadsheets. You can identify real operational issues and turn solutions into day-to-day practice.
You see today and tomorrow
You know when to stabilise, when to change and when to deliberately accelerate development.
Excellent English is required.
The role requires confident professional communication. Estonian language skills are a strong advantage.
If you recognise your strengths in this role, we would like to hear from you.
There is no need for a long cover letter. First, we would like to understand the scope of your responsibility, your leadership experience and the impact you have made.
